The Starbucks inside of the ASU Bookstore is another
convenient place for students to get their caffeine fix. After a long night of
studying students may stop by the shop on the way to class or while picking up
books and other essential items. For example, while purchasing shirts for a
football game or picking up new textbooks for the semester, students can pick
up an iced latte perfect for those days in the Arizona heat. The great thing
about the Starbucks in the bookstore in that it is essentially in the center of
campus. Students walk by on the way to class and even while walking on the
constantly crowded palm walk.
Once again,
ASU does a great job in providing students what they need. Students are able to
purchase coffee or iced tea from the Starbucks in the bookstore in a timely and
efficient manner. The one problem one may see with this shop is that because it
is located in the bookstore one must store their book bags in the lockers
provided outside the store. This can be seen as an inconvenience to many
because many students have to carry a bag to class for their books and laptops.
Having a Starbucks located inside the bookstore is a great way for ASU to make
money. Students purchase items from the school and feed their addiction to caffeine
at the same time and in the same place making ASU even more money. The
placement of the Starbucks inside the bookstore is a way for ASU to help
students to get their caffeine fix quickly on the way to class or while
shopping, and there accomplish this for the most part. Aside form the inconvenient
bag check before entering the building the Starbucks inside the bookstore is
just another coffee shop for students to get their essential caffeine.
